General terms and conditions for registration for webinars, seminars, trainings and conferences

General Provisions and Applicability

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all registrations for webinars, seminars, trainings, and conferences (collectively referred to as the “Event” or “Events”), made by a client – an individual, legal entity, or other legal organization (“PARTICIPANT,” “PARTICIPANTS,” “You”) – through the website (“Site,” “Website”) www.digital4bulgaria.com, which is managed and administered by the digital agency “IMG CONNECT” Ltd., UIC 207379619, VAT No. BG 207379619, with its registered office and business address at 4 Bregalnitsa Street, Varna (“We,” “ORGANIZER,” “IMG CONNECT”).

To successfully complete your registration, you must read and agree to these General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy adopted by IMG CONNECT.

Entry into Force

These General Terms and Conditions are binding on IMG CONNECT, on the one hand, and on the individuals who have registered through the site, or on whose behalf the registration has been made, on the other. The General Terms and Conditions come into force and become binding for the PARTICIPANT upon receipt of a confirmation of registration via email. IMG CONNECT’s obligations arise upon receiving full or partial payment for the registration, as specified in the respective event announcement.

In cases where the registration is made on behalf of a legal entity or other organization, the contract is concluded with that legal entity or organization. When a person makes a registration for the benefit of another person or persons, all adult individuals who will attend the event are considered contractual parties, and the person making the registration bears joint and several liability for the obligations of the PARTICIPANT.

By registering for an event, these General Terms and Conditions constitute a service contract concluded remotely (online) between IMG CONNECT and the PARTICIPANT. The contract is considered concluded upon confirmation of the registration by the ORGANIZER and issuance of payment instructions.

By registering, you confirm and accept these General Terms and Conditions, including the conditions relating to the execution of the event, payment, preliminary agenda, cancellation policy, and other provisions.

These terms obligate the ORGANIZER to secure the PARTICIPANT’s access to the specific event under the name provided, for the specified date, and after the relevant payment has been received. The PARTICIPANT’s primary obligation is to pay the event fee according to the terms and amounts outlined in the respective event announcement. Your participation in an online or offline event is guaranteed only upon prepayment as specified in the event announcement. Without prepayment, IMG CONNECT does not assume responsibility for the provision of the service.

Basic Definitions

“PARTICIPANT” refers to a natural person, legal entity, or other organization that actually uses IMG CONNECT’s services and has either personally or through a third party registered for an event listed on the Site. The PARTICIPANT is a party to the contract with IMG CONNECT.
“ORGANIZER” refers to “IMG CONNECT” Ltd., UIC 207379619, VAT No. BG 207379619, with its registered office and address: 4 Bregalnitsa Street, Varna.
“Event” means any online or offline webinars, seminars, trainings, conferences, or other types of events organized by the ORGANIZER, featuring a pre-announced program, schedule, price, and speakers.
“Registration” means the act of providing information by the PARTICIPANT or a third party through a registration form (electronically, via email, or by phone), upon which a remote contract between IMG CONNECT and the PARTICIPANT is concluded.
“Force Majeure” refers to events, acts, actions, or omissions by third parties occurring after the registration that prevent the ORGANIZER from delivering the booked service.
“Announcement” refers to any statement made by the ORGANIZER (online or offline), indicating the event’s date, agenda, speakers, number of participants, and price.

Registration Process

When registering for an event, the PARTICIPANT must fill in specific information in the electronic registration form or provide this information to the ORGANIZER by other means. Typically, the required registration details include: the PARTICIPANT’s first and last name, email address, and phone number. In the case of registration by a legal entity – the company name, company registration number (UIC), registered address, job title, and the name of the employee who will attend the event must be provided.

All personal data submitted in the registration forms is used solely for the purpose of delivering the service and, where applicable, for presenting the services of IMG CONNECT with your prior consent.

The registration is considered complete upon clicking the “Submit”/“Register” button and receiving confirmation from the ORGANIZER that the registration was successful.

Registration Confirmation

Immediately after registration, but no later than 24 hours afterward, the PARTICIPANT will receive a confirmation email at the address provided. This confirmation includes key registration details and prepayment instructions (a pro forma invoice). The confirmation also contains a summary of or a link to these General Terms and Conditions.

The event terms (including duration, price, payment, cancellation/change conditions, agenda, and speakers) become binding for the PARTICIPANT upon confirmation by the ORGANIZER and for IMG CONNECT upon receipt of partial or full prepayment of the participation fee, in accordance with the specific event terms. Most services offered by IMG CONNECT must be partially or fully prepaid to guarantee execution.

Your spot will be reserved for 7 business days after the pro forma invoice is sent. The participation fee must be paid within this timeframe. If payment is not received within this period, your reservation will be released to other interested participants. Your right to participate arises upon payment of the participation fees.

Participation Fees and Payment Methods

Participation fees for events organized by IMG CONNECT are listed in Bulgarian Leva (BGN) and include all applicable taxes. Each event’s specific fee is listed in its announcement. In some cases, early registration discounts may apply, while late registrations may incur higher fees.

Fees must be paid in BGN by the PARTICIPANT no later than 7 days from the issuance of the pro forma invoice. Payment is considered completed upon receipt of the amount into IMG CONNECT’s bank account. Failure to pay within this timeframe may be interpreted by the ORGANIZER as a cancellation by the PARTICIPANT, and Section 8.1 of these General Terms and Conditions will apply. At IMG CONNECT’s discretion, the registration may be deleted or unilaterally canceled. Unpaid services do not create obligations for IMG CONNECT.

Payments for registrations and other services may be made in a lump sum or in installments depending on the specific offer. Unless otherwise specified, the participation fee must be paid in full before the event date. Payment methods are indicated in the event announcement and the registration confirmation email.

The listed price includes only event participation and does not cover additional expenses such as accommodation, transport, meals, etc., unless explicitly stated otherwise in the event description.

We accept payments via bank transfer, Stripe, Paysera, and ePay.

Upon receiving payment, the ORGANIZER will issue an invoice to the party specified by the PARTICIPANT. For recurring payments, a separate invoice will be issued for each payment.

Promotions – Discounts and Package Pricing

The ORGANIZER reserves the right to offer promotional pricing. Promotional offers apply only to newly registered PARTICIPANTS under specific conditions and cannot be used by existing PARTICIPANTS as a basis to request a price reduction or a refund. IMG CONNECT typically offers better pricing for early bird or group registrations.

Registration Cancellation Policy. Withdrawal from Participation

8.1. Cancellation by the PARTICIPANT

Please carefully review the registration terms before signing up for an event. Unless otherwise specified during registration, you may cancel (withdraw) your registration free of charge and without penalty within 14 days from the registration date or the date of confirmation by the ORGANIZER—whichever occurs later.

This right of free cancellation does not apply to PARTICIPANTS who are legal entities or individuals who have registered for the event for professional qualification or other non-personal purposes. In such cases, if canceled, the ORGANIZER retains the paid participation fee.

Cancellations must be made by submitting a completed cancellation form to IMG CONNECT, including by email, or by notifying the ORGANIZER via another method (e.g., by phone). The request must include the PARTICIPANT’s information and event details, including the event date. You will be informed once your cancellation has been successfully processed.

The paid participation fee will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, to the bank account specified by the PARTICIPANT, provided the cancellation is made within the established 14-day period.

If the cancellation is made after this period, IMG CONNECT will retain the full participation fee. At its discretion, IMG CONNECT may offer the PARTICIPANT the option to attend a different event instead. If the PARTICIPANT declines, no refund will be issued.

If a registration is made less than 14 days before the event, the right to free cancellation does not apply, provided that the PARTICIPANT has explicitly agreed that the service will begin within this 14-day window and has acknowledged forfeiting their right to cancel. In such cases, if the PARTICIPANT withdraws, IMG CONNECT retains the full participation fee but may offer attendance at a different event. If this is declined, no refund will be given.

8.2. Cancellation of an Event or Registration by IMG CONNECT

IMG CONNECT may, unilaterally and without owing compensation or penalties, cancel a PARTICIPANT’s registration or cancel an event in the following cases:

Non-payment (in full or in part) of the event fee by the PARTICIPANT within the agreed terms and deadlines. In such cases, a refund of any paid portion is only due if the cancellation occurs within the timeframe that allows for refunds, as per Section 8.1.
Force majeure or other circumstances beyond the ORGANIZER’s control (e.g., government prohibitions or other official acts, natural disasters in the event area, epidemic situations, inability of a speaker to deliver the event, etc.) that prevent IMG CONNECT from fulfilling the service. In this case, IMG CONNECT will offer the PARTICIPANT a service of the same or higher quality on the same or alternative dates. If the PARTICIPANT declines, IMG CONNECT may cancel the registration without requiring their consent and without liability, and will refund 100% of the paid amount for the event within 14 days of cancellation.
Insufficient number of participants. If the minimum number of participants required for the event (as stated in the announcement) is not reached, IMG CONNECT may cancel the event, postpone it, or offer the PARTICIPANT a place at a different event. If the PARTICIPANT declines, IMG CONNECT will refund 100% of the paid amount for the event within 14 days of cancellation.

If IMG CONNECT cancels an event or registration for reasons attributable to the company, it will offer the PARTICIPANT a similar service under the same or comparable conditions. If the PARTICIPANT declines, IMG CONNECT will refund 100% of the paid amount within 14 days. Any applicable fees or penalties charged by IMG CONNECT will not exceed the amount the PARTICIPANT would have owed had they canceled the registration at that time, and never more than the total amount paid.

The PARTICIPANT may be informed about the cancellation of an event or registration by email or other means, including by phone.

9. Changes to Event and Registration Terms

Changes to the service characteristics (dates, program, speakers), price, payment terms, and cancellation policy are permitted only under the conditions outlined below.

9a. Change of Event Dates

A change of event dates by IMG CONNECT is permitted without penalty or cancellation fee, up to 5 days prior to the originally planned event date. If the PARTICIPANT is unable to attend on the new dates, the ORGANIZER will refund the full amount paid.

A change of dates by the PARTICIPANT is also allowed, without penalty, for events that have multiple available dates, provided the request is made no later than 5 days before the initially scheduled date.

9b. Change in the Number of Participants

An increase in the number of PARTICIPANTS by the PARTICIPANT is allowed only upon confirmation from IMG CONNECT that the service can accommodate the additional participants, and upon agreement on additional fees.

A decrease in the number of participants is permitted without fees or penalties only if it occurs within the free cancellation period, and no later than 5 days before the event. After this period, a decrease in participant number is allowed only upon confirmation by IMG CONNECT. If no agreement is reached, IMG CONNECT is not obligated to refund any amounts paid for participants who do not attend.

9c. Change of Participants

Up to 7 days prior to the event date, the PARTICIPANT may substitute attendees free of charge, by notifying IMG CONNECT via email or other means. This does not alter the total number of participants.

From that point, the new participant(s) become parties to the service agreement. The person making the substitution and the person receiving it are jointly and severally liable for payment of any remaining balance, fees, taxes, or other transfer-related costs (if applicable). IMG CONNECT reserves the right to charge the PARTICIPANT if it incurs real costs due to the change.

Changes submitted after the 7-day deadline are subject to explicit approval by IMG CONNECT. If no confirmation is received, the change is not accepted, and the rules of Section 8 apply in case of non-attendance.

9d. Change of Venue, Program, and Speakers

If necessary, IMG CONNECT may unilaterally change the program, speakers, or event venue up to 14 days before the event, provided that equivalent conditions are maintained. The PARTICIPANT agrees that such changes are considered minor.

IMG CONNECT will notify the PARTICIPANT by email. The PARTICIPANT must respond within 3 days to accept or decline the changes. If no response is received, it is assumed the PARTICIPANT has accepted the changes.

If a substitute service of lower value is offered and accepted, the PARTICIPANT has the right to a refund of the difference in price. If the PARTICIPANT declines the substitute service, a 100% refund will be issued.

9d. Change to Event Fee

The final event fee is non-negotiable and cannot be altered unless mutually agreed in writing by both IMG CONNECT and the PARTICIPANT, including via email.

No-Show on the Event Day

If a PARTICIPANT who has partially or fully paid the event fee fails to attend the event (or fails to join in the case of online events), they will be deemed a no-show. In such cases, no refund will be issued. IMG CONNECT reserves the right to claim the remaining balance of the full participation fee if only part of the fee was paid.

Access to the Event

Each event organized by IMG CONNECT has a specified date and start time. For online events, the ORGANIZER will send the PARTICIPANT access instructions (e.g., a link) up to 3 days prior to the event. The PARTICIPANT agrees not to share this information with third parties.

Paid participation fees entitle only the registered PARTICIPANTS, as notified to the ORGANIZER, to access and attend the event.

In case of incorrect service delivery, the PARTICIPANT must notify IMG CONNECT without undue delay and no later than 24 hours after becoming aware of the issue. Notification must be in written or reproducible form (email or other technical means).

The PARTICIPANT has the right to file a complaint, message, request, or objection regarding service quality within 14 days after the event, in written or verbal form, by phone, email, or other appropriate means.

Complaints will be reviewed within 30 days of receipt. If the complaint is justified, IMG CONNECT may offer compensation, at its discretion, which shall not exceed the event participation fee.

Disputes and Jurisdiction

All disputes related to the service agreement between the PARTICIPANT and IMG CONNECT shall be resolved by mutual agreement. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be referred to the competent court in accordance with Bulgarian law, which the parties agree shall govern, including but not limited to the Commercial Act, the Law on Obligations and Contracts, and others.

A PARTICIPANT who is a consumer may initiate proceedings for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, before the General Conciliation Commission at the Consumer Protection Commission, based in Sofia, Slaveykov Sq. No. 4A.

Your personal data is protected in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Correspondence and Communication

By completing your event registration, you agree to receive an email confirmation with details of your registration. To ensure your participation, you must provide a valid email address. IMG CONNECT and its staff are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurately submitted information, including email addresses, phone numbers, or credit card numbers.

Additional Provisions

If any clause of these Terms and Conditions becomes invalid, unenforceable, or non-binding, the remaining clauses remain in full force and effect.

The website may contain links to other websites. IMG CONNECT is not responsible for the privacy practices or terms of use of sites it does not administer, nor for any other information contained therein.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on www.digital4bulgaria.com — including logos, figures, text, captions, images, drawings, diagrams, databases, descriptions, methods, processes, registration software, webinar software, speaker presentations, the Terms and Conditions, and any other intellectual property — is the property of IMG CONNECT or third parties from whom the company has obtained permission or license.

IMG CONNECT reserves all rights over intellectual property related to the website and services. Visitors may use the content solely for the purpose of event registration or inquiry. Any use outside of these purposes is considered a violation of these Terms and of intellectual property rights.

Visitors may copy, share, transfer, and/or use the content only for personal, non-commercial purposes and only when:

It does not contradict this section;
Explicit written consent has been granted by IMG CONNECT or the intellectual property rights holders.

IMG CONNECT allows owners of other websites and users to create links to www.digital4bulgaria.com, provided the reference is clear and unambiguous.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be unilaterally amended by IMG CONNECT at any time by updating them on the website, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Commercial Act.

The updated Terms come into force immediately upon publication on the site and apply to all future clients and participants, as well as to existing contracts with legal or natural persons who registered for an event for professional purposes. Amendments do not affect previously concluded distance contracts unless otherwise provided in accordance with applicable law.

Application of Updated Terms to Existing Contracts

If IMG CONNECT wishes to bind individual PARTICIPANTS (who have paid for an event for personal, non-professional purposes) to the updated Terms and Conditions, in relation to contracts concluded before the update, the company will notify the users via email within 7 days of the changes.

If the PARTICIPANT disagrees with the amendments, they may, within 1 month of receiving the notification, send a written notice to IMG CONNECT and:

Cancel their registration;
Withdraw from the contract without providing a reason;
Do so without owing compensation or penalty.

Alternatively, they may continue under the previous version of the Terms and Conditions.

If the PARTICIPANT does not respond within the specified 1-month period, the updated Terms become binding upon them after that period.

Immediate Enforcement of Terms in Specific Cases

The updated Terms and Conditions will become immediately effective for all participants, without the need for notification, if the changes are imposed by a legally binding regulatory act.
